Foolish Four's

Anton and the members of the Grand Forks Cycling Club have started something cool. It is a fun and motivating way to keep focused on training during the winter months. Once a month on the first Sunday individuals in various cities gather together to test their metal on the bike. Results are sent to Anton and posted on the the Grand Forks Site. Everyone can see how they matched up while also finding new goals for the following month. Email Kevin to book your spot in the next Foolish Four meeting scheduled for January 5, 2008.

Oliver Half Iron (June 1, 2008) was a another huge success! Well done to Outback Events (Joe and Sarah Dixon) for making the 5th annual race another well run event enjoyed by all. The day have started with rain but stopped half way through allowing lots of PB's to be set. Eric Simpson won the M45-49 age group. Kevin finished in 4:52 placing 5th in M40-45 age group. Check out the pictures. Lots of Balance Point racers in attendence. I will post the pictures when they arrive.
